5 feel good habits I have formed…
Currently listening to Dusten Truce | Adam’s Apple ft Tyler
I couldn’t explain the phase I am currently in, or should I say that I have been in since last year September. However, last month I saw something online and it pretty much explained it:
I’m just evolving and the growth is intense.
What sparked this realisation?
I am so at peace with everything and everyone. I worry less now. I express myself better. Do less talking and more doing. The growth is basically intense and I am grateful for it.
After I realised that my life is essentially the sum of my habits, and habits can be formed, I decided to constantly start doing some things to improve my personal growth. I can confidently say that they are now my habits.
Now, I can confidently say that they are my habits.
As written by Jame Close ear, every habit you have, good or bad, follows the same 3 step pattern:
Reminder (the trigger that initiates the behaviour)
Routine (the behaviour itself; the action you take)
Reward (the benefit you gain from doing the behaviour)
I totally agree with this! What are the habits I have formed?
1| Daily study of the Bible
The Bible tells us that we should meditate on the word of the Lord day and night. I have struggled with this for a long time, but YouVersion Bible app has made it easier for me.
Trust me guys, it feels so good knowing more and more about the living God I serve.
2| Drinking water
I can’t deny that I am addicted to drinking water. Wonder why I my skin glows? Drink more water! And of course, big shoutout to the abroad weather. Haha.
3| Walking more
Apart from dancing in my room, walking is the only exercise I do daily. I think I started walking more since I got to Ireland because of good roads and less sun.
4| Writing more
Writing makes me happy! I can’t go a day without writing. When I am happy, I write. When I am sad, I write. My mind is constantly creating new ideas and writing it down is the next thing to do. If I am not writing, I am probably on SoundCloud searching for dope underground artists.
5| Giving more
Growing up, I had tendencies of being very selfish. My big sister may not know this, but she is the one who changed my life by calling me to order. When you give, you receive, do not let anybody tell you less.
Thank you for reading, guys!
