How to: Reduce hair shedding…
For the longest time, I have struggled with hair shedding (lots of hair shedding). When my hair was relaxed, I didn’t really pay attention to my hair shedding because I thought it was normal. Then I became natural, hoping my hair will shed less, and it became worse. I initially blamed the hair dyes I have used for my hair, but who was I deceiving? This was a problem.
The curious cat in me decided to do a major research on everything about hair shedding and I was able to learn a thing or two about it. According to NaturalHairRules, you should as the below questions to figure out when your hair sheds or breaks a lot:
1| Is it shedding or breaking?
2| Have you recently changed your diet?
3| When the last time you detangled your hair?
I honestly can’t relate to any of the questions above, however, please click on this link to read more.
After my research, I concluded that hair shedding is normal, but mine wasn’t. Then I had to find out to reduce it and not completely stop it (if this is even possible); the only procedure that made sense to me was massaging your scalp with green tea.
Unfortunately, I did not take a photo of my hair shedding before I first used the green, but the photo below is the hair lost on the first day I did the green tea procedure.
While the photo below is the hair lost the second time I did the procedure.
Before washing my hair (please read my hair wash day routine here) I brew the green tea and pour it into my spray bottle.
After washing my hair, I part it into 4 mini buns, spray the green tea on my scalp, massage my scalp, cover my hair for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
I am not sure if this will be a long or a short-term remedy, but I pray that it is long-term.
Thank you for reading, guys!

Have a blessed weekend,
