Vlog: My graduation ceremony…
Currently listening to Estelle | Conqueror
On the 10th of November 2016, I graduated! I am officially a masters degree holder and currently searching for new opportunities. To do PhD next or not is the question right now… I dey play…. what is a PhD, please?
Anyway, a few weeks ago, I was having a conversation with my ex-classmate in Bowen University, Henry Apampa, who is a vlogger based in Lagos, Nigeria (you can check his channel here) about his vlogs and he suggested that I should start vlogging too.
Vlog? I thought… HELL NO!
However, after thinking about ”leaving comfort zones” and “trying new things” conversations I have had in the past, I decided to make my first, and probably ONLY, vlog on my graduation day! It all made sense to do this, to be honest, instead of having a blog post filled with studying abroad speeches and my graduation pictures… vlogging will be so much fun and challenging I concluded.
Before you watch the video (and share, of course) what is a vlog? According to whatis, a vlog (or video blog) is ”a blog that contains video content. The small, but growing, segment of the blogosphere devoted to vlogs is sometimes referred to as the vlogosphere.”
The article added: ”Some bloggers have included video content for years. However, vlogging is becoming more common as equipment becomes cheaper and supporting software and hosting and aggregation sites become more prevalent.”
Interesting to know, right?
Below is my graduation vlog, I initially thought that I messed it up (the recording and editing), nevertheless, I am excited about it. Also, I uploaded the video on YouTube and embed the link on here.
Please watch, leave a comment and share.
